A short story about a man who sails deliberately into a storm.

“He had no real idea where he was going, but he would be damned if he was going to turn back now.

The sky ahead was leaden and grey with thickening clouds. An inch above the distant horizon he could see the dark threatening band of a storm.

Every instinct in him was urging him to turn about, to spin his wheel and put this tempest behind him.“
